Corerra is a great little place that shows the true charm of Naples. It's inexpensive and close to all the attractions and transportation to get yourself to the Amalfi Coast, Capri, etc. I have to say that Gisella who basically runs the hotel provided maybe the best service I've received at a hotel property and I've had the fortunes to stay in some of the most exclusive properties around the world (for business travel). Gisella speaks close-to-perfect English and is very knowledgeable of the surrounding area including Naples, the Amalfi Coast, Capri, etc. Taxi stand is right down the block by Piazza Dante. Don't be scared by the initial look of th block. It's a working class street and the people are not thieves as is the case with the outer perimeter of the city. I also stayed in the room on the 1st floor directly above the street where all the noise "suppossedly" was. I live in NYC so it did not effect me but I can imagine it could be slightly bothersome to someone from a much less metropolitan city. If slight noise bothers you, request another room. I'm planning on heading to back to Italy in several months and I will stay at the Corerra once again
